To ensure that the machine remains in optimal condition, it is recommended to perform a routine maintenance at least once a month: thoroughly clean the dust, check the lubrication of the screw rod and the tension of the belt, clean the lens of the laser head and confirm the optical path.
After using it for a period of time, the lubricating grease on the screw may get contaminated with dust and other particles. If the lubricating grease turns black or makes noise, it is necessary to remove the original grease and reapply it.
Occasionally, it is necessary to check the wear condition of the belt. After normal use for a period of time, there may be belt powder on the gears, which needs to be cleaned to prevent slipping.
If the engraving effect is not as good as before, it might be because the lens has got dirt. In this case, you can unscrew the light emission nozzle of the laser head, clean it with alcohol and a cotton swab. Wait until the alcohol evaporates completely and then reinstall it.
